Samsung verified this week that Galaxy Note 9 (its forthcoming flagship handset) will launch at an “affordable price.” While the exact cost of the handset was not revealed by the firm, a report has stated that Galaxy Note (128 GB version) of this year will be rolling out for a price tag of IDR 13,500,000 (almost Rs 64,400). This was unveiled by the firm while rolling out its quarterly results.
Samsung had revealed the 64 GB version in India of Galaxy Note 8 in 2017 for Rs 67,900. Earlier, Samsung had rolled out its Galaxy Note device in late August 2017 but this time the firm has prepared to launch the Galaxy Note 9 a little early on August 9, 2018. Behind this decision is the faith of the firm that thinks an earlier roll out will assist drive the sale of the flagship handset.
The firm claimed that its April–June net revenue increased to KRW 10.98 Trillion (almost Rs 61,753 Crores) but its general sales dropped to KRW 58.48 Trillion (almost Rs 3.6 Lakh Crores) by 4%. The firm’s handset business also went through a drop of KRW 1.39 Trillion (almost Rs 8,500 Crores) in working cost during quarter two. The firm expects that the launch of the Galaxy Note 9 will transform its fortunes for the good reason.
As per a latest media listing, the forthcoming flagship handset will come fueled with an Exynos 9820 chipset. According to an earlier rumor, the smartphone was believed to come with Exynos 9810 chipset that was launched with the Galaxy S9 devices. Speculations of Samsung providing a 512 GB version, a new color combination, and more color options are also popping up. The handset is also anticipated to roll out with a bigger battery than that of Galaxy Note 8 and upgraded dual rear cameras.
